Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
- JournalFit is free. You need an account to format papers and make documents.
- Upload only files you have the right to use, and use the service fairly.
- Always check the result before you submit it. The journal decides what it accepts.
The service
JournalFit is a free online service, run independently. It is not linked to any university, publisher or journal. It reformats research papers (Word and LaTeX) into journal formats and makes documents from templates. We may set daily limits, change features or pause the service, for example for maintenance.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older. Use your real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or create accounts automatically.
- You can delete your account at any time from My account.
Your files
- Your papers stay yours. We use them only to do what you asked, and delete them automatically (see the privacy policy).
- Upload only files you wrote or have the right to use. Do not upload files with viruses or harmful code, or content that is illegal.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits or security of the site, scan it, or use it to send spam. We may suspend or delete accounts that do this.
Results
JournalFit does its best to follow each journal’s template, but no tool can check everything a journal checks. Always open the result and check it before submitting — page layout, figures, tables, references and word limits. Each journal decides what it accepts. JournalFit is not linked to any publisher; journal and publisher names are trademarks of their owners.
Templates and publisher files
Some LaTeX projects include the publisher’s own class and style files. These belong to their publishers and are shared under their own licences, which are kept inside the files. Document templates are starting points: have legal and official documents checked by a qualified person before use.
No warranty
JournalFit is provided free and “as is”, without any promise that it will always work, be error-free, or that a journal will accept the result. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, such as a rejected submission or a missed deadline. Keep your own copy of your work.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. Continuing to use JournalFit after a change means you accept it. Questions: .
